November meeting cancelled - reconvene December

Unfortunately a number of our regular attendees cannot make the November meeting, and others need more time to finish the 500+ pages of Sarah Water's 'The Paying Guests'.

So, the November meeting is cancelled, but we'll reconvene on Tuesday 16th December to discuss the book and to eat a few festive mince pies.

The usual time and place.

The next book group meeting is Tuesday 18th November and we'll be discussing Sarah Water's latest offering, 'The Paying Guests':

As usual, the meeting will be in The Stormbird, Camberwell Church Street, at 7.30pm.

Since there were a number of people who couldn't attend April's book group meeting, and since those who did hadn't finished reading 'Nights at the Circus', we'll be discussing that again at the May meeting.  Which means that we'll return to Pat Barker's first world war trilogy in June.

Tuesday 20th May, Angela Carter's 'Nights at the Circus':
